It's basically a few very short-form board books per issue, plus some very basic tie-in ideas for parents. For a 3yo, it might not be very engaging. Also, kind of expensive at $17 for a year...</p> <p>I don't have any experience with LadyBug, but I loved Cricket as a little girl! I had an extra coupon so I was able to get it for $15.30.</p> <p>I'm trying to decide if I want to get BabyBug or LadyBug. BabyBug is for ages 0-3 and LadyBug is for ages 3-6. My daughter turned 3 at the end of October. I was leaning towards BabyBug for now just because we like to look at the pictures and make up stories and she LOVES to "read" books on her own and I thought the BabyBug format would be more conducive to that. But the LadyBug magazine would maybe be better because of the more age appropriate stories? </p> <p>What would you do? </p>
