But I still preferred that one shot a day to the Crinone messiness. Plus my RE said the injections are more reliable and wouldn't even give Crinone for the first few months. Guess every RE is different. Progesterone mimics pregnancy symptoms, so if you get pregnant, there is really no difference. Not sure what you'll be using it for, but I did IVF and did the injections for a few months, then switched towards the end of the 1st trimester to the Crinone. Yes, the leakage was the worst! I do remember the side effects did go away shortly after stopping it.
