I can only see the amazon, which looks good (although clothes/books you may get anyway but still, looks good.) I can second @loveisstrange...we tried avent when dd was a newborn and that didn't go over so well (although I've also seen a 3.5 month old do fine on avent natural flow or whatever they're called but not sure when they introduced that..) Dr. Browns was the winner for us too, and I have seen bf babies use them, even in standard size, as well. We also liked the playtex drop ins once we hit the four month mark.

I don't know if you had any pacifiers but the soothie ones worked for us and seem to be popular and they are supposed to be ok with bfing. Might be good to have just in case, even if you aren't planning on introducing one. It was a life saver for us...

-I found that the boon grass doesn't hold enough and ended up getting the boon lawn instead. And I really like the trees that they sell for the boon to hang pacifiers on.
-We really like mam pacifiers, thru come two to a box that you can sterilize them in.
-medela sterilizing bags are so handy!
-during the newborn weeks my baby lived in the moby wrap

Maybe an infant insert for the Ergo? The Ergo is my saving grace many times, and the insert makes it usable for newborns-4 months.

While I love my A&A blankets, flannel receiving blankets come in handy, especially when you don't want to mess up the A&As. We use ours on the change table, in her mamaroo and other seats to protect the fabric against poop explosions, etc. The same can be said for the flannel burp cloths - a million uses!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: With the diaper bag bags thing, the Munchkin is more widely accessible and they smell good too. You get refills for that almost anywhere. I stocked up on mine at Target.

In the early weeks, I found the side snap or the basic Gerber stuff to be the best. I don't think we put him in a sleeper until I went back to work and really started a sleep routine where you knew he wasn't going to have a blowout every couple of diapers.

@cascademom: thanks so much for all the suggestions!

I didn't think I had to put # of boxes of diapers on there? My thinking was that I would put the kind I prefer and they get whatever size they want?
-I thought I had a dishwasher basket somewhere maybe I never put it on! I'll definitely double check that.
-I thought all the diaper bag things were the same but I'll put that on there instead.
- I am thinking about eliminating the flannel receiving blankets, but they're so darn cute! Lol
- I have some basic Gerber ones on amazon but I'll add more on BRU
- I put a bunch of different kinds of pacis on BRU in hopes that I'll get a variety.
- I already bought some long-sleeve side snap shirts, like you said. I'm ahead of the game! Lol.

Thanks so much again for all the great suggestions.

My suggestions are:
-more newborn diapers, you'll go through a box easily within the first week or so
-a dishwasher basket (still love mine at 14 months)
-I love the Munchkin bag dispenser instead of the Diaper Genie one: http://www.amazon.com/Munchkin-Hammer-Diaper-Dispenser-Colors/dp/B001QKDI48
-maybe eliminate the flannel receiving blankets. They aren't terribly useful. We had a ton of them, but found A&A blankets and lots of them were more useful
-add basic burp cloths to both registries. I personally love the flannel ones, but some people like cotton ones instead. Here's what I have (in boy colors): http://www.amazon.com/Gerber-Count-Flannel-Diaper-Print/dp/B000MGJD8M
-I'm always hesitant to recommend pacifiers since it depends upon your baby's preference. As our LO got older, he took to the Avent ones like a champ and still uses them though we need to wean him off of it now.
-Our summer dude lived in side snap shirts with a swaddle for the first month or so. I'd get something like that until the umbilical cord stump falls off: http://www.amazon.com/Gerber-Unisex-Baby-Newborn-Sleeve-Months/dp/B007C2PYL4/ref=sr_1_21?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1382718470&sr=1-21

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I would highly, highly recommend the Dr Browns. Washing is a bit of a PITA but after you've been doing it a while, it becomes pretty 2nd nature and it's not a huge deal. I just know the Avent were a disaster for us.

@loveisstrange: Thanks for the input! I've heard amazing things about Dr Brown bottles, but I just haaaate how many parts they have. :( But maybe it's worth it anyway? Hopefully I won't need to use bottles too much and it won't be such a PITA to wash them.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: Definitely get a NoseFrida! OMG, best thing ever.

I would say maybe reconsider the Avent bottles. In our experience, the nipples are WAY too fast flow for a newborn. They caused massive gas issues and projectile vomiting in our house. Dr Brown's are amazing! Feel free to disregard, but I just wanted to share my experience as a bottle-feeding mom.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I am able to view the amazon registry. My LO isn't here yet, but from my experience at my shower people will buy a ton of books so you might not need to register for those. Also unless you have more burp cloths on the BRU registry I would add a second pack here. I agree with the BF accessories, I didn't put many of those on my registry but I did include a boppy and a milk storage kit (bottles and bags) and didn't feel awkward about opening those. Also will you be pumping and using bottles at all? Maybe add 1-2 to try if you are?

I'd love to get some feedback on my registry. Plus, I know I love to look/snoop at other people's registries. ;)

We are planning on BFing, but I'm not sure how I feel about having nipple cream/breast pads/milk storage bags, etc. on there. I'm not shy about telling people I plan on BFing, but I'm not sure about opening that stuff in front of other people! Lol.

BRU: My registry number is: 50929528 http://www.toysrus.com/registry/index.jsp?ab=BRU_Header:Utility2:Baby-Registry:Registry
Can't get any links to work, so I guess search by that?
