Thanks for the ideas! I'm trying to build up a list of recipes.

So far ones that have worked well are a variation of the salsa chicken breasts (easy version is just chicken breasts + salsa, more ingredient version is chicken breasts + homemade taco seasoning + diced tomatoes + diced jalapeno peppers + red onion + garlic), and pulled pork sliders (pork shoulder + homemade or store-bought BBQ sauce).

I'm always on the lookout for more healthy freezer meals though!

I do a lot of Indian food in the crock-pot, and I bet chicken or lamb curries would freeze well. Just chunk up the meats, get the veggies and spices together, and toss in a freezer bag. Coconut milk doesn't freeze well but that would be simple to open and add when you're ready to cook it. One of my favorites (maybe not the most authentic, but very tasty) is http://m.allrecipes.com/recipe/174543/slow-cooker-butter-chicken.

Alright, I am in too. We're moving this Friday and I am starting from 0 with the pantry and freezer, so all I need to do is buy a crockpot.

I've posted before about "dump" recipes, there are TONS out there.

@mrs. wagon: I just picked this up from the library. I haven't had a chance to flip through it yet, but I'll let you know if it's good when I do.

Oh... I have the Maple Dijon Glazed Chicken from that same link above waiting in the freezer, so I'm hopeful for that since it came from the same source!!

Alright people... I'm INTO IT. And it's all thanks to @Mrs. Polish 's blog post!! We've not only eaten so much healthier this week, but we also didn't spend a dime on food all week except one breakfast we splurged on dunkin donuts.

I'm a REALLY picky eater, especially when it comes to my own cooking. So I haven't liked any of the recipes so far except for this:

http://www.sixsistersstuff.com/2012/09/slow-cooker-freezer-meals-make-8-meals.html

Scroll down to "Chicken Broccoli Alfredo".
We had it over whole wheat penne and it was delicious. Had it for lunch the next day as well! It was, however, the most time consuming recipe that I tackled in my first run of freezer bag meals... because it required me to chop a green pepper. Haha. Everything else was just dump and freeze.
