<description>&#60;p&#62;I started back in August and go twice a week! I don't think I have much to add that previous posters didn't already mention! Don't get me wrong, it will be a tough workout. It's a different sort of workout that your body isn't use to. I love it though. I'm not &#34;OMG obsessed&#34; but I really like the results I've been getting!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I wear either spandex capris or shorts and a workout top. I don't like to wear non-workout clothing (t-shirts, etc.) since they absorb the sweat a bit too much for me.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I don't know much about it other than my DH loves it. Be careful though. He hurt his shoulder lifting and his physical therapist said she sees crossfit injuries all the time. He has a couple weeks before he had go back and he can't wait.

<description>&#60;p&#62;A good box will emphasis correct movement and not speed and intensity.  Like someone said it is scale able even down to preschoolers (and toddlers).  I just taught two year olds a squat.  It should kick your butt but in a way that you feel bad for two days and then want to do it again.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You should NOT pee coca cola after your workout.  You should not be in extreme pain 4 or 5 days later.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Don't be intimidated! Crossfit is NOT (or should not) be the &#34;military bootcamp&#34;-type environment it sort of has a reputation to be. Every single thing they do in class is scaleable. We have a 60 year old woman at our box who has NEVER done the full workouts, but she's lost a ton of weight and made progress at her own pace, which is awesome. She started out doing push ups agains the wall, then progressed to doing them on a tall box, then to the floor on her knees. Point is - no matter how hard it 'looks', don't worry, the coaches will modify it for your fitness level. The important thing is you improve at your own pace!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Expect there to be a steep learning curve, especially with the olympic lifts. It's not intuitive, so often takes people a few weeks or even months to feel comfortable with the moves. Don't leave class day two thinking &#34;I can't do this!&#34; - nobody can at that point, just stick with it and you'll learn.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Wear whatever you'd wear to go to the gym! Sports bra, workout pants, t shirt or tank. Something you don't mind getting sweaty. &#60;/p&#62;
