They don't fluctuate as much as flights, but they do run specials. If you're a risk taker, and wait until the last minute you can usually find an even better deal if the ship is not full. They're usually the less desirable dates or destinations, though. We've booked anywhere from a couple months out to 6 or so months for our honeymoon cruise. I think price depends more on the size of the ship, time of year for the cruise, and cruise line.
