I almost did at 9 months, but then the diaper and diaper packing got to me. I couldn't lug all that stuff on a ship. We plan to go next summer when she is 21 months. At least she'll be on table food, the diaper thing also wouldn't be so bad.

I prefer Carnival, but on Disney, kids under 2 sail free.

We went on a Disney cruise last year and my niece was 9.5 months. She was wonderful on the trip but she was also a really easy baby. Disney cruises are amazing for kids (and adults)!

We looked into it a bit. If you do it, I think your best bets are Disney and Royal Caribbean, if I'm remembering correctly. They actually have nurseries for babies that age.

Last April we went with my Brother and SIL and their 9 mth old and he was not happy.

We went with carnival (and paid full price for him) and he was not able to go to camp carnival (you could pay for babysitting but its extra and can only be x amount of hours and when they say), he also was not allowed in the pools at all (no swim diapers). He spent most of his day in a stroller and he was just starting to become mobile.

We would not do it again.

I haven't. I did have a friend who was thinking about doing it.... until she learned that she would have to pay full price for her 6 month old who didn't even eat real food yet. I'm not sure what cruise line that was or if it's like that for all of the, just something to look out for.

I've seen a couple other posts about cruises the past week, but I was wondering if any of you have cruised with your LO's before and what ages they were? We are wanting to go on a vacation next February and LO will be almost 8 months old. I know most cruiselines require a child to be 6 months or older, but I'm wondering if he'll still be too young to enjoy it and it'd be more of hassle. If you think cruising would be okay that young, which cruiselines would you recommend?
