I was pretty disconnected from the reality that I'd just delivered him (and from the reality that he wasn't breathing!). I didn't cry the moment of A's birth, but about 10 minutes afterwards when she nuzzled herself up and started nursing on her own. I was so exhausted that I was just stupefied. I just kept staring at LO thinking WTH, I just had a baby? With LO2 they had me flip over right away after delivering on my hands and knees. I couldn't figure out how to crawl over the umbilical cord. And you had a long gradual labor with dd1 and a fast and furious labor with dd2- both times it was like, whoa, the baby is here?!?! No tears I don't think from either of us. </p>
