I cried, then realised that I was literally crying over spilt milk and laughed ( but in a sniffly, kinda pathetic way!). Once a bag was left out and spoiled. No idea who, but it was 8 oz. I didn't realize that the milk could come back up and out when tipped at that angle and before I knew it my lap was wet with spilled milk! It was probably only an ounce or so but I was devastated and it only made it worse that I had to "wear my mistake" . It was so difficult to get my supply where it needed to be. Now, I'd still be devastated but at least I have a back up supply. If I ever spill anyone, or anyone else does, it better be 3 ozs or less! That's the amount I've spilled in the past, but only once. @tina- I really did just grimace. So he basically poured a full bottle of milk out right onto the counter. I was so mad. It was like a full 6 ounces. It would take me about 45 minutes to pump that much. One time my mom poured 4 oz down the drain thinking it was an old bottle. It was what I pumped during my night sessions and I had just warned it up to give to my daughter but I went to go change her diaper first. My mom was trying to help by cleaning my kitchen. It was during a middle of the night pumping session so I had to be quiet but I was pissed! And then I managed to do it again at work that week and then again one morning that weekend. Especially in those first few weeks, when every ounce (heck, drop!) is precious!! One time Bee spilled some milk and I swear, time slowed down and possibly stopped. It was a very traumatic moment. What's the most milk you've ever spilled? What was your reaction to the spill?
