We have to be careful that she doesn't eat too much cheese. We tried giving her different juices, prunes, etc but the only thing that actually helped was probiotics.</p> <p>I would ask your doctor for suggestions. I know how hard it is to see your lo going through so much pain. We've been giving him solids for almost two weeks now. The first week it was just sweet potato (baked at home, mashed, mixed with some water or breastmilk). This week we mixed in some peas and gave him avocado separately. He still nurses 6-7x per day.</p> <p>For the last four days (and maybe before, I don't remember) he has been screaming before and while he poops. We caught him in the act Monday afternoon. DH massaged his tummy while I tried to calm him down. The poop is formed but not dry. He has been pooping 2-4x per day. When he was EBF he usually pooped once a day.</p> <p>As a side note, I gave him some avocado when he was 6 months old. Three days later he screamed for almost 2 hours before he pooped it out. I was so upset about his pooping problems that it took me a month to try it again.</p> <p>Aside from the pooping problems, he's very happy. Has anyone else had this problem, and what did you do? </p>
