I just wrap the hair around it, hold for 10 sec and let it go! I spray it lightly with some Dove hairspray after I finish each side/back/top of my head. Also, after learning how to use a wand vs an iron, I will never go back to curling irons. It used to take me an hour to curl my really long and thick hair with a curling iron. Now that my hair's longer I'd love to make a similar investment in a curling wand. What have you liked/disliked? </p>
