We cut LO's hair at 13 months, short, and I was SO sad because all his baby curls were gone. We then didn't cut it again for like 9 months and by that time it was a mop of curls!! The shorter my hair, the curlier it gets. H's shorter hair curls more than her longer hair. We didnt get it cut super short because we still wanted it to be long enough to curl. </p> <p>It was only a few weeks before it was shaggy and in need of another trim. I took him for a second haircut, which lasted for another few weeks. </p> <p>DH decided for LO's third haircut, to go shorter, but shorter meant no visible curls. He thinks I'm crazy, but I've always heard that if you cut off a baby's curls, they won't come back. </p> <p>What's been your experience? </p>
