I just started getting the Deva curl cut but don't know if I fully love their products yet. I do like the way my hair looks when I use them but really don't like the way it feels. I think I need to keep experimenting. I also find them expensive so I can't always afford to use them. However, I have the microfiber towel and won't use anything else to dry my hair anymore. I use a leave in conditioner and gel. I also have been using the Aveeno sulfate free shampoo and conditioner.

I use the deva curl lightweight gel. I just bought a giant pump bottle of it on Amazon. Amazing!!!! I use Kevin Murphy shampoo and conditioner right now because I'm *really* blonde and it's purple, without making my hair turn purple.

I use Lush products - any of their shampoos + jungle solid conditioner, then I brush it and scrunch with RnB hair moisturiser and air dry. Nothing else has ever worked so well for my hair! I also only wash once a week or it gets dry and straw like.

I've been using a Moroccan oil cream that's been great! I also never let a towel touch my hair, unless it's for a few seconds immediately out of the shower. Then wide tooth comb and gel/cream/mousse right then. I find this to help with frizz!

@kpc324: I have had a love/hate relationship with my curls my whole life - the best thing I did was get a Deva cut last year - it made ALL the difference!! See photo below.

As for routine - I wash every other day but condition daily. I dry my hair with Viva paper towels and then use Deva Curl Arc Angel gel - dry my hair upside down with a diffuser.

i use a strong hold gel (Herbal Essences Set Me Up Max Hold Gel) and let my hair air dry. If i had more time, i'd use my diffuser more often, but now i usually save it for special occasions. I also found a hairdresser who specializes in curly hair (and i only cut my hair twice a year). Since i started seeing her, i have gotten the most compliments on my hair ever in my life time. I also only use shampoo once or twice a week and conditioner more often.

I'll have to check out deva curl...the no silicone/no sulfate combo is tricky to figure out with random drugstore products, it would be nice to stick with a line that follows that philosophy.

I think I'm a 2c...pretty curls on a good day, but they easily turn into frizzy waves.

I've been using Deva Curl for years. I find that serums don't work with my curls. I usually just wash and air dry, I do have a Deva curl gel that I use from time to time, if the weather is making my hair flat. I had a curling cream from Brocado that I used to use a lot, but I don't need it anymore, after using deva curl and air drying for so long, it curls well on its own.

@nana87: not me but my sister is a deva curl devotee, has been for years, and has gorgeous curls. It's pretty similar to ouidad too.

I was hoping this would be about LOs with curly hair. My 2 year old has gorgeous but kind of wild curls. I love them but will need to help her take them at some point.

@kpc324: I have short hair now, but when it was longer I avoided silicone products. I think frizz ease is mostly silicone which can definitely cause build up, especially if you're trying not to shampoo often.

@kpc324: I usually alternate between the Ouidad system (cut, way of styling, products, etc) and the Aveda Be Curly line. The ouidad is great, it's just time consuming and expensive.

Any curly girls here?? What's your current go to product cocktail and routine for your hair? I've been trying the "low/no poo" method with suave along with frizz ease serum and mousse but it's just weighing my hair down lately. I'd love ideas on how to change things up!
