We both have fine strands, and I have a LOT of hair. What I do to refresh our curls in the AM is use this stuff called Lavish Curls Moisturizer (found it at Target). It's a spray bottle but it's kind of just a direct stream, so I spray it in my hands and gently scrunch it through. Curly hair gets frizzy when it needs moisture, and this stuff has some oils in it to moisturize. I'm on day 3 of my curls and it looks good thanks to this product.</p> <p>Also, like @daniellemybelle, I use Shea Moisture products. I like their thick and curly shampoo and conditioner for my own hair, and it definitely helps tame frizz. As LO gets more hair I'll probably use it on her too! The sides get these gorgeous ringlets, but the front and back gets really frizzy. Not brushing helps but I have to comb it out or it gets all matted. We use Curly Q's shampoo and Miss Jessie's Multicultural Curl. I spritz her hair with water and then add just a penny-size portion of the Miss Jessie and work through her hair (like I'm fluffing it) then let it air dry. It helps the frizz. It's for curly hair and doesn't have sulfates in it. I also find that if her hair can air-dry a bit, it brings out the curl more.
