Instead when its sopping wet add some curling gell (deva gel) and scrunch the ends. She prefers to then scrunch hair upside down with paper towels but if you don't want to be wasteful use an old t-shirt. Then turn your head to each side and scrunch again.</p> <p>Use little baby clips to add volume at the roots (I steal these from my DD) while it dries.</p> <p>She suggested I not use my diffuser and to air dry. Its winter right now though so this wont be possible every day.</p> <p>Once your hair is dry you can break the cast on the curl (from the gel) and slightly break apart the curls to add some volume. Before she did this my hair looked ridiculous and I wasn't thrilled with the cut but after it made a hug difference!</p> <p>At night sleep with your hair high on your head in an elastic band and use a satin pillowcase</p> <p>On day 2 + wake up and spritz hair with a water/conditioner combo and scrunch (I did this today and was impressed with how great it looked - usually I have severe bed head!!)</p> <p>Stop washing it so much - she told me to ease into this - since I currently wash everyday she told me to start with every other day and slowly get up to washing 1 time per week - I cringed and she laughed - ha!</p> <p>She also said that over the next few weeks my hair will get better and better - having a good cut, using the right products and taking care of it will really show!</p> <p>I was there for 2 hours between the 2 hair cuts, wash, dry and style and talking - it was amazing!</p> <p>Hope that helps! </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/curly-haired-bees-i-got-a-deva-cut#post-1957960 Mon, 24 Nov 2014 12:07:56 +0000 ShootingStar 1957960@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>Your hair looks great! My hair has gotten so much frizzier and is losing the curl so I wanted to see if a cut would really make a difference! She cut it dry, then washed, dried and cut again.
