I'm sorry you have to wait so long. It's a good thing you were proactive about this so you can jump start AF instead of waiting longer!

I'm sorry you may have to wait a little longer, after my fresh cycle got cancelled, i not only had to wait to get my period, i ended up having leftover cysts too. But it all paid off, so hang in there

Update:

I heard back from the nurse on Friday night. She said that if my period hadn't show up my Monday (CD 40) that she would send me in for blood work. AF never showed so I had my blood drawn yesterday and heard back today. She said I haven't ovulated and it looks like I'm not going to anytime soon. My RE wants me to start provera so I'm going to tonight. I definitely won't be doing the embryo transfer in November now. Hopefully we will be able to in December.

My cycle was a few days longer - like 35 instead of my normal 28. My situation is a little different since I only went through the egg retrieval and did not have a transfer that cycle.

Did you happen to notice when you O'ed? I remember that cycle I O'ed much later than usual and learned that a post-IVF cycle can be really off. I hope AF comes soon so you can get this show on the road!

It took my sister about 45 days after her first fresh IVF cycle to get her period back. Her doctor seemed to think that was normal and wasn't planning to induce her period unless it took a lot longer than that.

Good luck - hoping AF shows for you soon!

I'm on CD 37 after a failed IVF cycle. My cycles are normally 30-32 days long. Is is normal to have a long cycle after a treatment cycle? I need AF to start so I can get on the pill to prepare for my FET next month. I emailed the nurse at my RE's office already, but am not waiting very patiently to hear back! I did POAS already, and it was negative.
