At my bridal shower all the guys came and stayed in a separate room. It was in a country club and we had an awesome brunch buffet so they didn't want to miss out. No gifts though.

I had a coed baby shower, I figured if boys didn't want to miss out on the party they could come to the next one. It was very boy friendly though.

Thanks ladies!

I think it's a fun, cute idea for the guys to get together and it will be warm so they will probably just hang out in our garage and drink beer and play beer pong and yard games. I'm designing the invites, so I will just have to word it so it implies no gifts are necessary.

I've just started seeing these around, and I think they are hilarious!
Its too bad that cloth diapers are a fairly expensive gift - each man could only bring one or so! But its a great idea.
It might be fun just to have the men do something, so that your hubby doesn't feel left out and has something to do.

For our wedding showers, and now baby showers, my dad likes to take husband out for drinks with his friends and the husbands of the shower guests. No gifts at that one (most of them have wives bringing gifts to the real shower anyway) just entertainment while the women do their thing.
Truthfully, Dh, and my bil, would rather go to a sports bar alone, but my dad likes it so they go along with it.

I think it sounds fun and we were in the same boat-DH's friend offered to throw a diaper party but DH declined because we are cloth diapering. Maybe they could do gift cards to the cloth store instead?

My MIL wants to throw my husband a "diaper party" (or as my friends call it, a pregger kegger) during my shower for the men. Basically, the men bring a pack of diapers and they get beer and food.

Only thing is we plan to cloth diaper, so I feel like this is going to be kind of pointless...anyone's hubby had one of these?

I am thinking about telling her to just make it something for the men to go to while the ladies are at the shower, no gifts necessary...thoughts?
