C seems to make me eat my words every time I post something like this, but here goes:

Wake 6-7am (has been 5am the last cpl days, eugh)
Change, wake up, play for a bit
Walk dog
8am bottle
9am cereal
9:30 to 10:30 (somewhere in there) down for nap #1
>>am activity some days<<
Noon bottle
Walk dog
>>pm activity some days<<
3pm bottle
3:30'ish nap #2
Walk dog
6pm Bath time
6:45 Bottle, then cuddle and bedtime

Our April calendar has us out every day, either 10-11:30 (Monday mornings), 1-2:30 (Tuesday afternoons), 11-12 (Wed am), 1-2:30 (thur pm) and then 10-11:30 (Fri am) so of course we adjust as needed. She will cat nap in car sometimes, or play, just depends on the day! Some days we have two things (one in am, one in pm) but I try to stick to one. We will do cereal or veggies again some part through the day, not really structured yet on that timing.

@hilsy85: Honestly, I didn't. Her naps were SO bad that I just dove in with a two nap schedule. I figured that we should just start with a clean schedule slate in hopes of some improvement. Plus, my LO has always had lower sleep needs during the day, so I thought she could handle it.

@TurtleDoves: omg he wakes up at 10:30!?!? SO JEALOUS!!
@Bao: @Weagle: @matador84: how did you know they were ready for two naps?

We have a veeery loose schedule:
6:30/6:45: wakeup/nurse
playtime
8:15/8:30: nap
9:30/10:00: nurse
1.5oz solids, playtime
11:30/12: nap
12:30/1:00: nurse
playtime
3:00ish: nap
4:00/4:30: nurse
1.5oz solids, playtime
6:15/6:30: bath, bedtime routine (nurse)
in bed between 6:45 and 7.
At least one overnight nurse, usually 2.

It allll depends on how long his naps are, though, On a good day, the first two will be 1.5 hours long, but if they're only 40 minutes, it throws the rest of the day off and I end up nursing much more frequently.

@Kemma: oh tips: I don't know if I have tips but I will tell you: once I realized that LO cannot go longer than 1-5h without a nap, the schedule just came together. I already knew he liked to eat every 3-3.5 h so those two components pretty much wrote out my schedule.

We're very routined. . Have been awhile but of course with age we always modify the schedule. My son will be 6m in exactly 5 days (tear, tear..sniff)

10:30am--- wake up & eat (4oz purée & 6oz milk)
12------nap
1:30/2---end nap. Eat time (6oz)
3:30-----nap time
5:00/5:30---end nap. Eat (4oz purée & 6oz milk)
7---nap
7:45/8:00---end nap, Play, bathe & eat (6 oz)
Asleep by 9:45pm
Plays or runs errands with me inbetween times & gets approx 4-5 diaper changes which are always after every wake up (unless there is a blow out!)

*may wake up after 9h of sleep for 1/2 a bottle (3oz) and then finishes up for his 12/13h total nighttime sleep.

We started implementing a schedule at 6 months, but it was just based on naps. We always have had problems with naps, so it just made sense to work in that first. We did a 2-3-4 schedule, where the first awake time is 2 hours, second is 3, and last is 4. It worked pretty well! We continued to nurse on demand, and she ate solids at regular mealtimes, starting with just breakfast and adding meals + a snack as she became ready.

I have a 7 month old. I wake ds up at 7. He nurses and then we play. He has 2-4 oz of fruit for breakfast. We play, do tummy time, jumper whatever. At 9 he goes down for a nap until 1030-11. He nurses at 11. We play or do errands. He eat veggies at 12. More play and at 130ish he goes down for an afternoon nap. I wake him up by 300 if he sleeps that long and then nurses. Around 5 he has veggies and fruit, we start bath 630/7 and then nurses around 7/730.

LO is 7.5 months but her schedule is pretty much the same as it was at 6 months, it was something like this:

8:30am: Wake up, diaper change, nurse
9:15am: breakfast
Playtime
10:30: Morning Nap
12:00: wake up/eat lunch/nurse
Playtime
2:00/2:30: Nap
4:30: Wake up, nurse
Playtime
5:00pm: dinner
Playtime
6:15pm: Bath or pajamas depending on night
7:00pm: Nurse and bed

The times I have play time, really vary...we may go to Gymboree class, run errands, hang out with a friend etc and sometimes that throws off our schedule, but this is just an idea.

So Miss A is almost six months old and I'm thinking that we'd both benefit from and are ready to get some sort of routine / schedule going but I'm not sure where to start.

We are still EBF on demand but have started some solids (not yet on a daily basis) and some days we have two naps, others three.

Is anybody willing to share their daily routine or give me some tips for putting one in place?
