My daughter has always been dairy free and mostly soy free as well. I don't give her any of the faux yogurts or cheeses because she doesn't like the totally plain ones and the fruit ones have way more sugar than regular yogurt.

My LO loves eggs and pb and avocado, but on top of those things, we do a lot of oatmeal for breakfast, or a make big matches of healthier pancakes (with puréed veg) and freeze and we use those all the time with breakfast sausage. For lunch and dinner we pretty much do a meat and 2 veggie sides every day. Snacks are fruit and/or crackers, pita and hummus, puffs (some have dairy so check), etc.

Sometimes with dinner she has a piece of toast but other than that she doesn't get a lot of simple carbs.

Xander's allergic to dairy, so hasn't had any since his first bites at 7 months, so this is a bit different. But he eats hemp milk and eats both coconut and almond milk yogurt. He eats a lot of sausage, carrots, fruit, carbs. The Earth's Best mini waffles are dairy-free - Xander loves those.

@MrsH: Great you can definitely work with this. Meat is so good for them and we had meat at every meal. Bacon, sausage, cold cuts, and chicken. For the blueberries we have found dried blueberries at whole foods which is really convienent to have around. Also freeze dried fruits (peaches) from Target. The fruit and veggie melts from Gerber is good. I like paleo pancakes (egg, sunflower butter and banana, you may be able to sub applesauce).

Found some yummy blueberry fruit and veggie pouches (del monte brand I believe). You may see if she likes avocado pudding (avocado, chocolate, a touch of sweetener in the blender).

@brownie: blueberries, meat, gluten free pretzels and pancakes, peaches, applesauce, GF puffs....she has texture issues and that's about all she will eat consistently.

Coconut yogurt is sweeter than other ones. My son won't drink anything but chocolate almond milk but it is what works. We do a lot of meats, nuts, veggies and fruits with him. We also did hypo allergenic milk until he was 2 for the fats. What does she eat other than dairy products?

We are going dairy free with DD (14 months) based on Drs recommendation. My question is what do you feed your dairy free toddler?? E gets probably 80% of her calories from milk, cheese, and yogurt.
She has issues with texture and won't eat things like pasta, eggs, pb, and the list goes on. I'm in serous need of help. DH is running to the store for almond milk and dairy free yogurt but I'm really afraid she is just going to reject them.
