Then he woke up fever free... only to wake up the next morning skyrocketing back up to 104 again. We finally took him in and he had a really nasty ear infection... the first time he had antibiotics since he was born (this was right around age 2). So you did the right thing even though it turns out to be just the flu! It started off with a massive cough and yesterday the daycare called us to say he had 105 fever (rectal) </p> <p>I got extremely worried seeing it was such a high number. Well... we gave him meds and his fever went down, didn't have any during the night but this morning it was back up to 103. </p> <p>I went to the clinic to take an appointment and my mom offered to go with him seeing I already missed part of the morning at work. </p> <p>Well... after a 2 hours wait... Mavrick has NOTHING. NOTHING BUT A FREAKEN FLU!!! Are you kidding me?! This is so frustrating. They did say if fever persists until sunday to go back and they would take xrays but I hate having a sick baby. :( </p>
