I had to wait five days to confirm my mc -- I counted 7 weeks at my first appt, but the ultrasound measured 5 weeks and there was no heartbeat. So I had to wait from the day after Christmas until NYE to go back and be told what I already knew because my doctor thought I had simply counted wrong. Then I waited four more days so I could take Cytotec on a Friday and use the weekend to recover. Waiting sucks, especially if you are like me and also dread the actual procedure in addition to wanting to get past the miscarriage.
