So some of the inset rooms (open concept house) have cherry, but they are surrounded by light wood. It's pretty. While they are beautiful, they were not well thought out. We have a husky so she sheds uncontrollably. I LOVE how the dark looks hands down. But HATE how it shows EVERYTHING, and with having dogs and cats....my lighter colored floors look better longer. I think I have the same dark hardwood floors that you have (seen on IG haha) and I have to vacuum, steam mop and vacuum again daily! I see absolutely everything. On the plus side, I have really clean floors.</p> <p>Here's the color I like, but I think this might be a manufactured hardwood floor.
