We used to live near Berkeley, but moved over to Concord about 7 months ago. I like the spa idea, but I'm trying to keep each date in the $30-40 range since I'm pre-paying 5 of them :) We just finished a cake decorating class in November, so I don't think he'll let me drag him into another cooking-ish class either. Or how about a cooking class? Some local grocery stores sometimes offer various classes. Or go for a couples massage followed by a steam room/sauna? Is he into the spa at all, cuz then you have a lot of other services at the spa you could do? Are you near the Berkley campus? Its beautfiul so you could go for a walk through the campus? Ill keep thinking of ideas. I am going to pre-plan (and pre-pay) for 4-5 dates, put all of the info into individual envelopes, and give him the present.<br /> Ideally, the envelope will say something like "Evening date, dinner included" and then I'll have a gift card to a local dinner and money for bowling, or something similar, but I'm not sure about my ideas. I was planning dinner with bowling, a night at the drive-in, maybe a visit to a park and gelato/frozen yogurt, but I don't know what else. I'm hoping for about 5 dates, each worth no more than 30-40 bucks.<br /> Any suggestions? </p>
