Search for 4-7-8 breathing. I've had trouble sleeping lately and this always helps.

@travellingbee: Are you taking any medications right now? I got sick when DD was 9 months and the doctor prescribed a nasal spray for me to help with the congestion. After 2 nights of horrible insomnia I googled the heck out of it and found out that it contains a cortico steroid and it was causing my insomnia! As soon as I stopped taking it I was fine.
All that to say take a look at anything you may be taking right now to see. Otherwise a bath and a meditation CD has worked for me in the past.

I usually listen to a couple somewhat boring podcasts in the dark. The BBC's In Our Time is good for this because it's interesting but not too interesting. Or I listen to an audiobook that I like but one I've read before (so I don't get too caught up in what's coming up).

Listening to Hypnobabies tracks puts me out instantly. I've listened to it when not pregnant to fall asleep. Maybe try looking for a relaxation track online.

Try magnesium pills. I always have some at home and they've really helped.

Chamomile tea, epsom salt bath, lavender essential oil, magnesium powder in water, Tylenol PM, and get off your phone/device ASAP! Sorry. That's awful.
