He looked at me smiled and went back to his puzzle. I didn't get my hug until the puzzle was complete. My 3yr old use to but they just moved her up to the Pre-School room and she loves it! So now she smiles at me and then keeps doing whatever she was doing before I got there. For a while we were in a class with a bunch of kids who got picked up early so my LO was always one of the last ones left and I felt terrible. Now that the classes have shifted a bit the room is always at least still half full when I get there. When I give him his coat, he goes to his teachers and has them put it on him and then he grabs his 2 stuffed puppies and starts pushing on the door. Sometimes, he will mix it up and run a circle around the room first and then demand his coat. He has a HUGE smile when doing it. She loves T and her little friends, but loves to come home, too! Usually she squeals super loud when she sees me and runs to me, and gives me the tightest hug when I pick her up. She runs to me IMMEDIATELY. Yesterday she literally pushed her friend down to the ground to get to me!! And she does NOT like it if I pay attention to any of her friends. But she loves school. Lots of times when I get there at the end of the day some of her classmates are crying because they are just over it and want to go home. But my LO is always playing happily when I peak in on her before opening the door. It makes me happy that she is happy at school but that she still loves to come home with mama.
