I agree with everyone else that it was harder on me than DS. He started right at 12 weeks last February and he definitely was sick A LOT and he still gets sick easily now at 16 months. He also doesn't nap as well there, so that's been an ongoing issue. But, he loves school and all of his friends. He seems to be more verbal than other kids his age who don't go to school, which I love!

Mine started at 16 weeks full time, and it was definitely harder on me than on her. She loved it!

DS started daycare at 14 weeks and it was much harder on me than it was on him! He adapted like a pro in a couple of days. It will be okay! He will make little baby friends and learn to view many adults as caring care providers.

It's hard at first, but it gets easier quickly. At that age they adapt so well to new surroundings and people. Mine did great!

It sucks. I had to go back to work when DS2 was 12 weeks since I had used all of my FMLA while on bedrest. Luckily he only goes 2 days a week, but I felt horrible leaving such a little baby.

Good luck- it gets easier!!

My daughter started daycare at 11 weeks so she could ease into it before I went back to work. She's done great! Our daycare didn't enforce a nap schedule until she moved up to the toddler room, but that's really been my only complaint. She loves her teachers, and they love her. And despite the daycare setting, she's gotten lots of one on one attention. It was her daycare teacher who finally got her to do her tummy time (we had issues with torticollis) when I couldn't.

Mine go to an in home daycare but she is very much like a daycare! AJ started at 15 weeks and didn't skip a beat! He is very much into the kids (sister included) and is happy as can be! Naps are still all over the place but I think it is more him developmentally than being at daycare!

LO started daycare at 14 weeks and after the first couple of days he was a daycare pro. Daycare definitely helped with sleeping in the crib.

That's such a short period of time! Just think of it as a change of scenery. 12 weeks is a good time that they start wanting to play and look around and interact

Mine went at 12 weeks. She was fine, naps weren't great but they learn. She also wasn't great with a bottle, but learned fast it was how she ate. LO2 starts in two weeks at 12 weeks. She already will take a bottle, so just worried about naps.

I put my younger LO in full time at 3 months and he did great! They helped him nap better and he was really stubborn about taking a bottle and they eventually got him to take it!

Tell me it's not so bad! With Dd1 we were able to wait till she was 10 months. Originally we were going to send Dd2 at 6.5 mo but now circumstance might make it NOW at 12 weeks.

I know they all adapt, and it's only two half days but I feel bad since she is barely adjusting to someone else caring for her (my mom)!
