I started looking around for other options but all the public ones are only a couple hours a day and that just doesn't work for us. She goes to a Montessori school. She was in daycare before and the difference to me is night and day. Daycare was much more play based and, quite frankly, chaotic compared to Montessori. Other preschool options would be private and some are affiliated with day care centers.</p> <p>My son went to a daycare that had a separate preschool program. The way I kind of split it in my head was that daycare was 5 days a week, from 8-6. Preschool, on the other hand, you have the option to go fewer days per week and fewer hours. But I would like both girls to be at the same place. And our district preschool is only a 2 hour program. The daycare that teaches the preschool is not one that we take LO to. I guess I could look into that daycare and see if we like it. But honestly I'm not sure if all the change and move is worth it for 2 free hours? </p>
