I LOVE the spring time change. Perpetually early-waking 3 year old twins so now when they wake at 5:30 it will really be 6:30...for a few days. Then they'll adjust back to their early waking ways, I think. The fall change totally wrecks our lives for about two weeks. Seriously.

Nothing for our LO. We are traveling this week and he will likely have jet lag. I'm excited we return from the trip and deal with the time change at the same time rather than once we get him back on track.

I'm excited! I SAH so I'm hoping the time shift will get us a wake up time closer to 7 than 545/6. Last DST DD1 was consistently sleeping past 7 so I'm hoping that will be the case again this go round. Heck, maybe I'll even be able to get up before them now! Here's to hoping! lol

I'm worried because he goes to bed so late as it is! Not sure how to get him adjusted to an earlier bedtime.

I hate times changes!! Last spring was really rough regarding LOs sleep and the time change, but we used the PLS suggestions (link below) for fall and it worked great. Granted fall is the "easy" one, but it was still much smoother than I think it could have been! Wednesday we'll start to move her bedtime by 15 mins or so and then we'll *hopefully* be in a good place for Sunday. LOs sleep is in such a good place right now I'm nervous about how she'll adjust (not to mention a new baby coming next week...).

The time change in the fall did not affect DD at all. So we aren't doing a thing and figuring that this time change will also have zero effect. We'll see!

Our LO has been going to bed later and later it seems, so we are going to try to get her to go to bed a little earlier each day this week (if we can manage). I'm hoping it won't be too bad. I'd actually like her to sleep a little later each morning if possible so hopefully it will work out for us.

It should be fine for us -- my kids wake up early so it's not like I'll have to wake them up for school or anything. DS1 doesn't nap so he'll go to bed whenever. DS2 I might use it as a chance to get him on 1 nap (15m and still takes 2 naps mostly).

Right now DD2 wakes up for the day by 5am and can probably go to sleep a little earlier. So, this might work in my favor.

Time changes never really affected DD1 much.

Her bday party is Sat at 3:30 so I am thinking we don't have a shot getting her to nap. So hopefully we can just do an early bedtime. The IL's will be here and they don't understand that so we will see. Sunday she will be skipping nap since the family party is that day, so early bedtime that night too.

So, I accidentally deleted my first post on this yesterday - ooops! Let's talk about how we are adjusting our schedules for our kids for daylight saving time (or if you are just going to wing it.

I have a 3.5 year old, the day we wake up an hour earlier is the day she gets to start her new school. Great timing, mom and dad! Haha. I think we will just start bedtime a little early Sunday night.

What are your plans for Daylight Saving Time?
