I always say O day is the day after my OPK turns positive (so 1dpo is 2 days after it turns positive). I confirmed that with my temps this month, but from what I've seen online, it can vary - some people O the day it turns positive, some 1 day after, some 2. Only way to know is with charting, I think.

I just guessed based on what my period apps told me. They were pretty close, just based on when I got my period every month and once I conceived they were pretty spot on.

ETA: The apps gave me like a 5 day "window" where we should be getting busy, and that worked well enough to get me knocked up. :)

I chart, so I go by the day before my temp spikes (FF picks for me, actually)

Ok, so i just saw a post on WB about when to count your DPO's from and it hit me that i may have been counting it all wrong all this while....

So my question i guess is: Without charting, how on earth should i know the exact day i O????

24-36 hrs after a positive OPK is really vague. Are there any other signs? as in EWCM or Cervical position etc?
