Lots of adults go commando under their leggings! I always go commando in my leggings or yoga pants, it's more comfortable to me. We do let her sleep in the buff and sometimes she'll go shirtless or pantless once home if she gets wet or dirty or "something".... recently I have started letting her go commando to school, she always wears leggings under dresses or skirts and if she's not wearing a dress/skirt she is usually wearing jeggings or leggings.</p> <p>When I made her wear underwear she was always picking and pulling at herself.. in front and in back. It was pretty obvious and I would cringe every time but she'd tell me she had a "butt wedge" or "front wedge" and had to get it out.</p> <p>I've tried underwear that are flush and snug and also underwear that are looser and not so "flush" to her area and neither one relieves the constant picking. </p> <p>When I send her commando there is no picking. However, I question whether it's right to send a 5 yo commando out into the world???? Should I put my foot down and make her wear underwear and either just ignore the constant picking and assume she'll eventually get used to it or let her be comfortable....</p> <p>I really don't want to try a million different kinds of underwear either! I have thought maybe she'd like boxers but I was kind of just joking when I thought that.... </p> <p>So am I being a bad parent by letting her go free? Do you think I need to put a stop to it? </p>
