She refused to nurse for a long time, but with the SNS she gets a fast enough flow to stay on. But she fills up from the supplemented milk long before she gets enough from me to make a real difference for me. She won't nurse without it for more than a minute or two generally. I probably have a slight oversupply, but since she's not even getting an ounce usually, I don't see any reason not to keep building my stash since I have to pump anyway.</p> <p>Thanks for the suggestions! I'll try football and the chiro. My girl had a preference for looking to the left, I took her to the chiro for one adjustment and she is so much better now. It is awkward, but I am still nursing my almost 1 year old football on the left! With some practice you can definitely figure out how to use the SNS in both holds! But LO is definitely not very happy when I try to have her on the right side. She'll sometimes reject it outright, and pretty much never finishes there (I have to give her a bottle after). I don't think it's anything to do with me or my letdown on that side. If anything my supply is better on that side, so you'd think she'd like it since she gets frustrated with slow feedings, and no sign of over active letdown. She just doesn't like it. I'm going to make a concerted effort to have her bottle feed facing that way more, to see if it helps. Beyond that, any suggestions? </p> <p>If your LO had a marked side preference, what did you do? When did you decide to give up and let them have their way? I don't foresee ever stopping pumping (before she weans), as she still really needs the SNS and never comes close to emptying me, so I guess it really doesn't matter. But on the off chance things do improve to that point, I'd like her to be okay with both sides. Thanks! </p>
