@travellingbee: Yeah if all the babie's parents are teachers, you are going to get even more germs. Sorry! Maybe just ask if they see a LO put something in their mouth, then drop it, they wash it before another LO can pick it up. I am sure they do the best they can.

@travellingbee: I'm in the same boat as you - I think I've been on and off sick for four months now. Xander gets it and then immediately passes it on to me and I always seem to get it worse! I can't wait for our immune systems to be stronger and more resilient!

@Smurfette: Yeah we use a humidifier. Bought it when he had croup and have left it on every night since then. It seems like all of the babies get most of the stuff. I think they do their best to clean the toys, but since all of the parents are teachers, and it is hard for us to take days off, I think lots of them bring their babies to daycare sick. :( I guess it's just hard to control those germs when you have mobile teething babies who stick everything in their mouths.

@travellingbee: Also diarrhea and spit up could be due to teething....

Poor guy!!!

Do you run a humidifier every night? I think it helps hold off R's runny nose. It seems to start as soon as I don't use it one night.

Are all the kids getting sick of just your LO? Maybe they need to clean the toys more often?

My 7 month old started daycare almost 2 months ago. About 5 days after he started he got a cold (which I got 3 days later). That cold turned into croup and he has been coughing and congested ever since then. He is currently on antibiotics for an ear infection. Last night his cough/congestion sounded worse again. And he has a fever now of 101.7. He's been spitting or throwing up this morning too and now some diarrhea. I don't know what to think! I guess it could just be one virus after another but the poor guy has never even fully recovered from croup from a month ago! So, call the doctor or assume it's just another virus that we'll all get? :(
