We've ordered the glider. Still need to paint the room and console table, decide on/make/buy bed linens, figure out wall art, clean out the closet, get a rug, and find drapes. The room used to have blue and orange walls and now it's a bright apple green. The next step is researching furniture. Painting the room made a huge difference - I can actually visualize what the finished space will look like. We're turning our "home office" into the nursery. The room is teeny-tiny. Right now we have a mini crib, small dresser, and a small bookshelf set up in there, and the room seems crammed full of furniture. We have to move DD out of the soon-to-be baby's room. I don't think I'm going to redecorate because this isn't going to be the baby's permanent room. We are going super minimal so we have a place for sleeping, black out curtains, a white noise machine, and will get a monitor and rocking chair but that's it for furnishings. To try to set her space up as being separate, we're hanging fabric and putting up lots of decorations from the ceiling and on the wall.
