More help needed. We've been inspired by some Scandinavian style kids rooms, like this: http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/hallmarks-of-a-scandinavianstyle-kids-bedroom-189956

Most of the stuff in the room will be pretty neutral, and I'm wondering about doing a righter curtain in front of the closet.
I liked a yellow/citron and white striped shower curtain from west elm, but it wouldn't be long enough so now I'm looking for fabric. What do you guys think about something like this?

https://www.fabric.com/buy/0278245/premier-prints-sydney-slub-corn-yellow

I would do something either the same color as the trim, or the same color as the wall. I am all about blending, lol.

@LuLu Mom: blue is a great idea. I didn't even think of it- I always lean toward neutrals!

I would pull out the hints of blue from the other curtains and do a solid bright blue curtains for the closet! itw ill be a great pop of bright color without being too overwelming.

We have decided to stay in our tiny apartment for at least another year and a half. This means that when T turns one, we will be moving her into the room that we currently use as office/storage.

There is a large closet without a door in the room. We will need to continue using the closet for linen and winter coat storage. Our plan is to put a tall baby gate in front of it, and then a curtain. It will take up almost the whole wall.

I have no idea what color fabric to use to make this curtain (or what curtain to buy). The room will be natural/wood/tree "themed" (think Waldorf aesthetic- so some bright colors, but those will be in details). I'm going to use these curtains (pic attached) we already have, and I won't be painting- the walls are a sort of gray/ecru color and the trim is white.
The green in the curtains is slightly brighter in person. It's not a forest green, more of a dark grass if that makes sense.

What color/pattern curtain should I cover the closet with? It is so big, and the room is quite small, so I don't want it to overwhelm or look too plain, either.
