@Cole: don't be afraid to mix metallics! they're all neutrals . . . And sometimes a good mix looks more luxe than using just one metallic.

Oh and before we had a headboard we had a large framed print above our bed. Everytime I mentioned wanting a headboard our friends said they never realized we didn't have one because of the art over the bed.

We dont have much yet in terms of wall art in our master but I find that our drapes have made a nice impact. Perhaps you can find some nice drapes with a print or graphic design. Target has some great affordable ones! For the nursery I also painted a few canvases myself which cost a lot less than buying the same size print or artwork. Or you can even get your own large scale pics on canvas for pretty cheap fr Costco, which I'm planning to do.

I like your inspiration board. I'd probably add some lighter accent pieces and natural elements to bring out the wood. A large vase with some wooden sticks though played out would be nice in a corner as would an indoor tree plant in a light pot or even wicker basket.

We are finally starting to decorate our master bedroom but I am really stuck. The room is pretty big and I have no clue what to do with all of the space. I put together a board hoping that it would help me figure out a direction but I was hoping for some other input and you guys are so good at this!

The room is navy with white trim/ceiling/doors, the floors are honey colored. Eventually we will do a rug or two in there but I don't think it is in the budget right now since we will probably need a large rug. Bedding and art are the big things I am looking for at this point.

We have a vintage dresser/armoire type thing that is pale blue and the wood to make the nightstands but that is it other than a bed (with no headboard.) I have no clue how to fill up wall space, big pieces are so expensive and I feel like I am going to wind up with gallery walls all over my house! My husband mentioned wanting a small letter writing desk so I will start looking for one of those I guess. I am afraid to put a bench or chairs in there because we are terrible grown ups and will just throw our clothes on them. I love the idea of metallics in there along with a plum color but I can't decide between silver or gold.

Any ideas for me? I will take any help I can get! Thanks!
