If so, look for coupons, either online or lots of them will have fliers right in the store, in the entryway. We have a craft store that sends coupons to your phone if you sign up for it. Then they usually have sales. You can find the aforementioned scrapbook paper, and plain wooden frames that you can paint yourself on the cheap. Also, thrift stores will sometimes have some pretty good finds. I like estate sales, when we were first married we stumbled upon an art collector's estate sale and got some beautiful art pieces that were super budget friendly. For my picture gallery wall I purchased frames at Michaels and used coupons. We're pretty far away from putting stuff up on the walls, we have some things, but I am really looking for more intentional decorations this time around.</p> <p>I think window treatments make the room. We have roman shades in two of the bedrooms and it makes a ton of difference. All of our discretionary income was going towards wedding stuff, and then I got pregnant immediately. </p> <p>Our place looks fine, but I never spent very much time decorating the place and we just threw things up on the walls in some places, and left others blank. </p> <p>Now that we are settled and don't have any giant expenses looming on the horizon, I'm ready to finally finish decorating our house so it looks more "done". </p> <p>But, we have a baby and are paying down debt, so I want to do a little at a time and not spend a ton. </p> <p>Do you have any tips for making a house look more complete? </p>
