I remember freaking out a lot about less movement sometime around then too. At times it was definitely a change in frequency. Then at one appointment (when I was really worried) my OB explained that the baby could be turned in an inward positioned and that they're still moving but their limbs might be moving against parts where I wouldn't feel it. That helped put me at ease a bit, well that and my doppler.

Always trust your gut though... if you're worried get the reassurance you need!

From about that point on while I still felt movement frequently it did change from kicks to more like just feeling baby squirm. There's so much less room as they get bigger and bigger. As long as the frequency isn't changing I wouldn't worry to much about the kind of movement.

I remember A kicking less and kind of squirming instead. If you're worried do a kick count but it is normal for baby to be a bit less active as they run out of room in there.

i would just chalk it up to running out of room and leave it at that. if you're super concerned i would do a kick count. :)

I'm just about 30 weeks and I've noticed a decrease in the baby's kicks - they're less forceful and more like nudges now. Anyone else experience the same thing? Anything to be concerned about?
