@Alivoo01: thanks. It really makes me sad, she usually loves all food. She just started cruising around, so she is way more active, too- which I'm sure doesn't help the weight loss. She seems well hydrated enough.

@Weagle:  guess we will wait it out,

DS is sick on a monthly basis and will not gain weight during this time. His appetite decreases. His pedi isn't concerned as long as he's still hydrated. He also said kids will normally make up for lost ground once they're feeling better. Hope your LO feels better soon! Sick kids are no bueno. :(

There's no way to tell how long it will last, but it will pass. Even if she seems to bee feeling better her tummy could still be sensitive.

My 9.5 month old was sick earlier this week (threw up a few times, diarrhea). She seems to be feeling better, but is all bu refusing solids.
She typically loves solid food, and eats whatever we are eating. I've offered her favorites, but she is uninterested. She seems slightly more interested in purees (she sucked the applesauce off her waffle this morning, and ate a few bites of puréed spinach last night that we tried after she refused other finger foods).
I'm sure this is normal, bu I can't help but worry. She has lost a bit of weight from being sick, and didn't really have any to spare. I nurse frequently, but she isn't nursing more than usual either.

How long will this last? Ease my new mom worries....
