When I was getting induced, DD's heart rate was erratic too and at one point it stayed so low that I was prepped for emergency c-section, but she ended up okay. Baby kept having decels that had every nurse on the floor running into my room freaking out. They finally got me on ultrasound and it turned out LO was squeezing her umblical cord (apparently they do this to practice grip) and cutting off her own blood supply!
