@Paddington10: I didnt even realize people get their results on the same day as the test. I dont think she used the word concerned in the way you are interpreting it. Hopefully you get your results soon and you are in the clear

If I have to do the test again, I will cry. The way she said it made me worry there was something funky with the result itself!

Yeah not soemthing to freak out about. She probably means she was concerned the blood didn't make it to the lab, meaning you'd have to do the test again.

I would not be freaking out about this. It's likely that she was concerned that maybe they didn't make it to the lab or something. I think it's unusual to get them same day anyway. For both of mine, it took two days to get the results and I had to chase them down this last time because I took the test early.

@Shantuck: agree, I would think her concern is that the test didn't make it to the lab or something.

I don't think failing the test would cause the results to take longer. I'd be concerned that your sample didn't make it out to the lab that processes the results and is still sitting in the doctor's office, etc.

I had my glucose test today and they said they'd have the results same day. Well, I just called and the nurse said, "That's strange. I'm concerned. They haven't come in." CONCERNED? I don't know what that's supposed to mean and now I'm paranoid something's wrong that made them delayed. WTF!! Sorry for the rant, I am just totally annoyed because I was borderline with my last pregnancy, was anxious all day, and now she used that word which has set my mind racing. UGH.
