It's a powder that's added to their food (I do about half the recommended dosage though, because they're small and don't eat that much. Basically, I do enough to cover the kibble). When we take him into Petsmart for grooming, we'll ocassionally have them brush his teeth also. I think he likes the toothpaste we use too much and he just clenches his jaw and sucks it off lol.
