When I still had all my wisdom teeth I got an infection from food getting stuck in a pocket between the gum and tooth. I assumed I got a kernel in there - been flossing but no change. it doesn't hurt to eat but the gum is so sore!!!<br /> today my right ear hurts and my gland in my throat, also on the right side hurts.</p> <p>From googling it could be a tooth infection. Then again I have had a cold/sinus issue for about 10 days as well - ugh!</p> <p>Anyway - should I go see a dr or the dentist? Can a dr treat a gum infection if that's what it is? </p>
