I would calculate based on percentage, like 20-25% of your current pay (the part time rate), on top of the $5k you're talking about. Do market research first - like what is the going rate for the position in that industry. Should I list my "desired salary" as half of my old salary (because I will be part time), or go higher to account for the license? </p>
