My window is behind me and the door is in front of me. I said no, it needed to go against the wall. I think that it needs to be a big room to be floating. Plus the cords hanging down would drive me crazy. He isn't neat enough to have it be the main focus of the room. There are two walls I can put it against, but I don't like either - along one wall I'd be right up in front of a window where the neighbors can see me, while along the other I'd be facing away from everything interesting in the room. I've always had the desk in the middle of the room so I could see out all a lot of windows and into the sun room but no one could see me...but I don't like the floating feeling. </p> <p>Would you rather have the nicer view or feeling anchored in? </p>
