With DS, there was a lot more going on, and the doctor kinda just shoved the scissors into his hands, so he hurried up and cut the cord. He's a doctor and so obv. not grossed out by icky bloody stuff - but he also felt that at the delivery he didn't want to be part of the medical care - he just wanted to be "the dad." (we're still a few months shy of TTC) Hubs has no interest in cutting the cord i think its still going to be awhile before he wraps his head around being in the room lol. </p> <p>He hasnt had much experience with babies and pregnancies so i think the whole process makes him anxious.
