DH and I have spent very little time apart. We have been together for 6.5 years and married last summer, but have been living together for almost 3. He moved in after he had to go away from training for work for 8 weeks. It killed us!! Before that he still lived at home with his mom, but spent most nights here. Then he left, when he came back he moved in and we got engaged soon after. I feel silly for stressing out so much about it. Half the week he works 12 hour shifts and isn't much (or any) help with DS anyway. E is usually asleep by the time he gets home. </p> <p>I also feel sort of pathetic because I am (as DH put it) "attached". I haven't spent longer than a weekend away from DH in 6.5 years. I'm spending tomorrow and Sunday night down with my ILs to ease me into it. I don't know how military wives do it! (or anyone else who solo parents for lengths of time).</p> <p>Tell me I can handle this and to put my big girl panties on! </p>
