Just have some drinks and apps out, and let people stop by all day on a weekend whenever they want. Everyone was really excited and wanted to see the house, so I put out appetizers (caprese skewers, deviled eggs, things like that), put on some music, and let people mingle! It was really fun, actually! I think he mostly just wants people over the first few weeks to show it off, but keeps telling friends "we are having a housewarming party" </p> <p>Would you just invite people over as they can come, or have a day planned for people to stop over and we provide a few appetizers and some drinks? Maybe just do e-vites or word of mouth? I really don't want anything big or fancy but I want to compromise with DH since he is looking forward to having a "party". </p> <p>Thoughts?
