I was able to control it through diet, but I was miserable. I started out at 110 lbs, and after my diagnosis I started to lose weight. My total weight gain was only 15 lbs.</p> <p>I did have complications with my glucose levels while I was in labor, and my numbers slowly kept increasing. I had a few insulin shots, and I had to have an IV drip of insulin as well. Either pregnant or TTC? How has this affected you and your pregnancy?<br /> For me, it's meant eating super specific snacks and meals, and checking my glucose 5 times a day, as well as taking metformin and two types of insulin.<br /> Anybody else? </p>
