I'm not an overpacker, so there's always a bit of extra room, but it would be plenty big for me to use as, say, a carry on if we were traveling. There are lots of pockets outside which is nice. I wish the inside had more pockets. My zipper broke on my first one, but they quickly and easily replaced my bag. I can't comment on their backpack, but I carried the messenger style bag for about 2.5 years and it's still in great shape. I finally got tired of it and went to a big purse. I have a PBB for #2. Not heavy at all, the straps are super comfy cause they have padding all the way down the straps and so does the back. The Danzo was a big disappointment. A few weeks ago after much research and YouTube videos, I bought a Ju Ju Be Be Right Back. I'm due next month and my kids will be 16 months apart. I love it so far! There's so much room and it's super comfy. I love the pockets and that I can always find my keys. I highly suggest looking at videos on YouTube--tons of mamas share their packing tips.
