I love having all the stuff accessible while I'm walking so I'd rather find a lighter bag than put it underneath. I didn't think it seemed as big when I measured it out from the specs online, but it seemed huge once it arrived! I am very impressed with the quality and love the leather trim. I have yet to use it, but it's barely packed for the hospital with 2 blankets (one muslin and one minky), a burp cloth, and a few outfits and it's already over 7 lbs!
